The flag alone makes the hair on my arms stand. The national anthem tugs on my heart every single time I hear it. Fighter jets makes me beam with pride. All that plus listening to an adorable little girl nail the national anthem at a NASCAR race, well...it turned a grown man to a pile of mush. Damn I love this country.

as a part-time DJ for 40 years, karaoke host for 30 and lead singer in a band for 9 years I think I know a little , she started good has the talent for sure but over did it if she held back a little wouldn't strain and would been so much better , what piss me off is that every singer tries to out do the other on the National Anthem don't try to re wright it just sing it like it's suppose to be , a music recording behind her would have much better , I don't know why they don't have that

It was so painful listening to her strain her vocal cords and get the guttural growls in that I couldn't get through it. Not her fault as she is being exploited at an early age. She is a beautiful and precious child that needs time to develop her voice not ruining it early on.
