Dylan you have this amazing ability to get people talking without saying too much or interrupting with questions. One of the best interviews yet!

Clarko could talk for hours. He is full of stories but also hilarious. His family history was very interesting. Congrats on the interview.

Great interview. Clarkson seems so laid back but he clearly is an outstanding thinker of the game. Btw, Love the four “P’s” mantra. I suspect the Hawks AFLW team have 4 albeit with one difference, but same principle 😊

Dylan you are brilliant,that interview was wonderful.. The sport websites that cash in on nobodies calling others hacks,scum,crabs,even cowards for giving it their best shot is insane. Some of these people still cash in while using beyond blue as sponsors...I played district cricket,was way off the Vics,I played U/19s with Clarko at North,but I loved cricket...Chief at BigFooty profits on us kind being called losers,hacks,scum,crabs,cowards.. I'll hag myself just to show we just loved playing sport. I'm sure "chief"on BigFooty will still profit,but Dylan you have a calling..

An hour WELL spent. Thank you Dyl! I wish you'd asked Clarko how he: a) rebuked Cyril; and b) got more out of Cyril (in game)? Bonus Q: Is it true Shaun Burgoyne has/was/is given license to just move himself anywhere, anytime in games when he (Shaun) thinks the team needs it?

The Hawks have not won a Final since 2015, almost 6 years ago. I think it's fair to say that letting Hodge, Mitchell, Lewis, Hill and Birchall all go to other teams as well as Retiring several other Premiership players before they were ready has not worked.
@dannyweggy77193 жыл бұрын
Couple of things Birchall: we didn't need him. He would be taking someone elses place in the side like Skrimshaw or Impy. Who need game time as younger players Hodge: he genuinely retired then a month later decided to go to Brisbane. We didn't get rid of him. Mitchell: we would lose him the next year anyway Hill and lewis were tough to lose tho

Holy moly you got the second greatest coach ever (Behind the late and great John Kennedy Sr) GO HAWKS!

Biased much, they'd both be in the top ten but not in the top 3.

@@BevtoneJohn Kennedy single handly turned Hawthorn from the biggest laughing stock in the league to a powerhouse and in many ways was a pioneer for example with his very hard training methods that really wouldn’t become the norm until 30-40 years later.

@@patrickbateman6885 An icon of the game no doubt but please take into account your hawthorn bias, great coach not the greatest of all time.

@@Bevtone No coach has had a greater impact on a club.
@Bevtone3 жыл бұрын
@@patrickbateman6885 Again your bias is very evident although I acknowledge your opinion, I respect JK so much a true pioneer and legend and yes had a huge impact at hawks but pales in comparison to Norm Smith's at Melbourne and one could argue the greatest of all time Joke McHales impact on Collingwood. Truly JK was amazing not discounting that at all but there are allot of great coaches who achieved allot he is one but not the one.

Mr clarkson was my teacher at wesley college . During the holidays at school he set up these footy clinincs with all the North Melbourne players, Wayne carey, craig sholl, anthony rock was the best times!! The only mistake mr clarkson made was getting rid of briian lake in 2015, he deserved one more year and i feel it would have made all the difference in 2016! Haw went from 1 def team in 2015 to one of the worst def teams in the top 8 of 2016! and you can see lakey played well in the 2015 gf!
@dannyweggy77193 жыл бұрын
No Clarkson almost had to tell him it was time to retire (i think he decided to retire anyway) because he know what he wantes to do with lewis and Mitchell and didn't want to lose half his team in 2 seasons. He had to make some personal changes early
@thexentrader8973 жыл бұрын
Danny Weggy it cost hAw the 2016 season , as I said go look at the defensive statists from when lake was in the team vs when he wasn’t big difference !
@dannyweggy77193 жыл бұрын
@@thexentrader897 im not disagreeing with you. Lake was brilliant for us and was incredibly important. But Clarkson probably wanted 2 people to go each year. If we lost lake, Mitchell, lewis, hill in the 1 off season to much would have changed
@thexentrader8973 жыл бұрын
Danny Weggy I understand the reasoning but we were in a unique position to win 4 in a row and surely you try go for it that’s my take , and 2016 was our worst defensive year in quite a few ....who knows how long tell we get back there ...
