Civil Engineer for a construction company here. Just wanted to say that these sets of videos are great and very useful for the younger folks joining the construction industry. Looking forward to sharing some of these videos with them. Hopefully you touch on some PM topics in the future.

Absolutely, I've got around 40-50 videos in my queue to get through for the basic videos, but plan to sprinkle in PM videos along the way. Then I'll get a little more into advanced topics later down the road

Thank you so much. You have no idea how helpful these videos are, especially the construction industry doesn’t have a lot of informative videos online

Thanks for these videos, I'm studying for the Architect Registration Exam and they are super helpful! Minor correction though, if you are using the AIA documents the Contractor prepares the punch list, not the architect. (A201-2017 section 9.8.2). NCARB really likes to ask that question for the CE and PjM exam.
@planandspec3 ай бұрын
Good catch. This is true by base AIA language (but can and often are amended). 99% of the time, the Contractor and Architect/Owner walk together to generate the punchlist in lieu of a two step process. Consider 9.8.3, in liue of a separate follow up inspection walk, these walks are nearly always coordinated and the Architects report combined with the contractors becomes the final punch which is why I consider the Architects report as the end-all be-all, as it incorporates their final pass.
