Hi!
I love the old PvP movies. I remember the excitement and fun of watching videos from vanilla wow and the start of BC. However, with Wrath, it seems there are far more arena / bg movies out now than world pvp movies. I wanted to create an ENTERTAINING pvp video that could be enjoyed for what it is fun world pvp.
What to expect
1vN Fights
Decent editing / machinima
WORLD PVP (if the point hasnt been driven across enough yet)
This is meant to be a fun SHORT movie meant completely for entertainment purposes! This is definitely not a showcase of skill, but rather a fun classic world pvp style video

@@RhadaGhast100 Lmao MoP had completely unbalanced PvP, (super Hunter 2 buttons ZOOs gameplay) not to mention broken defensive/self heal abilities for all classes, healers unkillable in 1v1 and impossible to get OOM and some broken burst mechanics. That being said Timeless Island was the absolute best PvP experience I ever had, better than Vanilla or Quel'Danas Isle, and WPvP on Serpent's Spine, around WBosses and in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms was a blast. But in terms of balance ? Do not even mention it.

Impressive editing of the video. The joy (and bane) of World PvP servers, are those folks who would rather PVE, and as such, have PVE gear and talents. From my experience, both in a PVE and PVP server during Wrath (and now a PVP private server) people usually only wore PVP gear/talents if they were doing some honor grinding, otherwise, PVE gear was better for leveling and dungeons. A person fully stacked in Resil (reasonable amount) would drop crit chance on them by upwards of 15% and reduce crit damage by a large amount. Cata changed the resilience effect to be a straight damage reduction, probably because people stacked in Resil would really mess with a class focused on crits to do a bulk of their burst (feral druid, rogue...)

It's not that bad at the private servers. In warmane's realm Icecrown has 12k peoples active everyday and quenes up to 1500 peoples at night.. It's like the old times in WoW.. I recommend to try it.

I don't understand some stuff about PVP ratings. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Here is my situation: I enjoy PVP but I don't have Wrath or Cata so I can't level past 70. Because of this, I mostly do battlegrounds. When I kill an enemy player I get an HK:Scout. My understanding is that the HK means "honorable kill" and "scout" is a rating. This rating can be increased through arenas. Rating affects how much honor someone gets when they kill you through any type of PVP, correct?

You have to notice how Vespira always cc's the off-target when fighting 2 people. That is very important. Also , notice the usage of Gouge & Sprint like a pro. Sprint is very important when you're fighting classes that reduce your movement speed. And notice the restealth ! (Geting out of combat,then stealthing). And the usage of Vanish while you have dots/bleeds on you so u can cheapshot needs a great timing. That's pure skill :) I play the rogue quite good , but i still try to find new tactics.
