Yes in English we spell it differently to suit our language. But Yngwie Johan Malmsteen isn’t his real name, though I suppose it is because he legally changed it. But he was born Lars Johan Lannerback. Malmsteen was his mother’s maiden name and Yngwie was a boy she had crush on in her early years. I know it says on his Wikipedia page that he was born Lars Johan Yngwie lannerback but he wasn’t. It didn’t used to say that either, it changed rather recently. April, his manger’s doing I suspect at Yngwie’s request. Lol
