Seeing that Dinobot commercial makes me remember the last day of school of 85. Just finished First Grade and got a really great report card. My parents took my two older brothers and me out to get Dinobots to celebrate. I got Sludge and my brothers got Grimlock and Slag.

CBS Storybreak Ending- I remember all three of those books that were mentioned and still own the “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory “ and “Strega Nona” books. “The Chocolate Touch” book is essentially the fairy tale of “King Midas and the Golden Touch” with the main character changing things into chocolate instead of gold. Frosted Flakes- Impressive effect of an animated character like Tony the Tiger and the live action kid rowing the boat together. It must have been complicated to pull off an effect like that back then.

CBS Storybreak-best theme tune ever G.I. JOE Action Stars Cereal-wished there were a limited edition version with mini marshmallows shaped like the COBRA insignia Dungeons & Dragons-always considered Don Most's character to be the Dr.Zachary Smith of the group Transformers Dinobots-hated how they were used in the Bayformers movies Taco Villa-"we have Del Taco at home."

Ah, G.I. Joe cereal, cardboard stars in a box. I ate enough of that crap to get a personalized T-shirt back in the day. I "think" I still have some of the cardboard cutout accessories in my box of Joe figures/accesories. If I remember right one of them was a machine cobra created to turn lead into gold.

I remember reading the Strega Nona book to. I thought the kid was lucky because pasta has always been my favorite since I was very young. I totally miss being a kid in the 80s. Especially '83 to 86 those were some great years for the best cartoons and toys.
