Random thoughts -The Alpha Bits villain...Is stealing letters so kids can't spell their names really any worse than some other villain plots we had in 80s cartoons? -Underoos...Were The Lone Ranger and Tonto still a big deal back in 81? Reese's Pieces - When that fireman went back up the pole to get more candy, all I could think of is that someone is burning alive somewhere while that jerk sits up there, eating his sweet, sweet candy. Super Sugar Crisp - Damn it, I want a feature length adaptation of this commercial RIGHT NOW!! We could get a whole backstory of the origin of Sugar Bear, his battle with the gator people, and their ravenous desire for his kid's cereal. Throw in a love interest for Sugar Bear, and you have an instant epic that writs itself.

Ok so Sugar Bear was a thing in '81! I think he mellowed out by the end of the decade. Probably went on the same time train as Taylor Swift did. They wanted to get away from the creepy Burger King, who could blame them?

I remember watching some of Space Stars then Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends (Iceman was my favorite) then The Incredible Hulk. Though, '70s cartoons I grew up with liked Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids (there's a line I'll never forget although probably not verbatim. Russell tells Rudy after he made some remark: _"Rudy, you're like school in Summer. No class!"_) I nearly rolled off the sofa in laughter.
