That EPT commercial was very interesting. Waiting 10 minutes for the results had to be maddening.

Had to do a double-take during the "Carol Burnett" credits, as I was just watching it on MeTV! I wonder how many successes were made from the "Firearms Repair" correspondence courses. Great video!

3:51 - Have to wonder if these actually were Flintstone Kids, or if they were just random photos they found. 5:53 - This commercial brings back a lot of memories, as my family always seemed to stay at Marriot Hotels when we traveled back in the day. At least until we discovered Embassy Suites, then that became our hotel of choice. 9:24 - I guess "Ralphie" became a Hershey's kid after his disappointment with Ovaltine. 12:40 - I remember getting the Sears Christmas Catalog every year. That was always something to anticipate.

Re: Hershey's commercial: He actually started appearing in those ads before "A Christmas Story": kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmOTomSKpJKlnZYm28s Agreed on the Sears Wishbooks, I used to stare at them for hours as a kid. Here's a site with many of them: wishbookweb.com/

This was their label in the early 70's: i.imgur.com/VDglexG.jpg Are you sure you're not thinking of the modern version on current packaging? i.imgur.com/bnKfV21.jpg I believe this was introduced in the 90's.

New Love American Style was not a daytime success in 1986 on ABC. Channel 7 ABC in CHi-Town was/is WLS.

It aired opposite "The Price is Right" in some cities back then. That's why this version of "Love, American Style" didn't do well in the ratings.

On most of the ABC stations that aired it it did air at 11 or 11:30AM EST. WOF and/or Scrabble aired against it

I know this is very off-topic, but the fact that there's Flintstones Vitamins in the thumbnail of the volume that came just after SilvaGunner announced he's ending his channel is a very strange coincidence.
@80sCommercialVault8 жыл бұрын
I don't understand the connection or relevance to this video
@ChapBloke8 жыл бұрын
Well I did say it was off-topic. Basically SilvaGunner's channel had a long-running gag involving the Flintstones theme song, so seeing something Flintstones related made me think of it. Okay, on-topic, I do love that they sent out an eagle in that Rasin Bran ad.

Yes. It's a pretty common variety of syrup, Mrs. Butterworths even has it in the name.
