I think the Campbell's ad still outpaces the American Sewing Association ad for most 80s by a little bit! We saw more of those sewing ads YEARS ago on this channel! Love seeing The Big Money by Rush making the top 100 of '85 though!

That Dr. Pepper Godzilla commercial was a tie in with the film Godzilla 1985. It was an attempt to bring the monster back to popularity with audiences. When it came to America, new footage was added with Raymond Burr reprising his role from the original US Godzilla movie. Because of Dr. Pepper’s endorsement, the soda was featured prominently in the footage shot for the US release.

Philadelphia Tourism PSA- I wish this song was longer. It's so catchy. Take A Bite Out Of Crime PSA- I like how McGruff looks shorter than all the people in this PSA, as if they tried to depict him at the size of a nonanthromorphic dog.

That’s definitely Robey in the sewing ad - on the long version you can spot her wearing a Robey jacket with her photo and autograph. Also, I think that’s Jermaine Stewart in the opening as well?
