His vocals on the chorus for "back on the streets" are so powerful and badass. Super cool interview. Thank you for sharing.

You know on here there’s a version of “back on the streets” with Vinnie Vincent on lead vocals? you should check that out, the dude has a great sounding voice. Side note: Rob appears to be somewhat holding back on the majority of tracks on the release... but not on “Shoot U full of love” his vocals there are so raw and ferocious... like a wolf on the prowl almost.

If I'm being honest, I put Robert's vocal performance on the first VVI album up there with the all time greats of the genre. In fact I'd go so far as to say for me, it's right there with Back In Black as one of the ALL TIME incredible vocal performances EVER. The perfect amount of power/sleaze/range/tone. He and Vinnie's background vocals meshed perfectly, and Vinnie's songs on that album are so goddamn fantastic. They were a PERFECT match!

Yes! love Vinnie Vincent Invasion’s self titled debut the title track, Back on the streets, Boys are gonna rock and I wanna be your victim are all classic and criminally underrated at least IMO

Fucking love this album, it's an acquired taste, you're either obsessed with it or hate the shit out of it. I understand why most people don't get it, but for me I loved it instantly.

The guy has had a lot of bad mixed with the good. Seems like a real decent guy who much like Vinnie has his own view of music, and is foot on about the Orwellian time we are living in.
