My dreams of finally being a part of the In An Instant Universe has come true! ❤️ It was a pleasure to work with Ben, Matty, and Lauren on this video! They are great people overall and fun to hang with! I hope you guys all enjoy the video as much as we did filming during that day. I’m glad that we were all able to make some magic despite this crazy pandemic happening and I can’t wait for more hang outs in the future :) If you read this, share this video with a love one or a Stranger Things fan, or even Netflix while you’re at it! 🙌🏽✌🏼👌🏽🔥 always amazing Ben! Very informative video in a retro time capsule. Love the cheesy lab photos which look like science textbook unit art from back in the early 80s. Looked like you all had a blast and Matt even walked off his injury and sucked it up just like we used to do back in the day haha! Of course anything with Joan in it is always worth a watch.

The lab photos looks great and as an skater I really liked photos with boards. Those reminded me old good times with my homies. We're kids from small city and the nearest skatepark had asphalt which was melting when temp was higher than 30'C... So we were going there by tram (2h journey), to be there early enough to not skate in those temps... Leaving our city around 6am... Old good times.

@sorintopala42424 жыл бұрын
I'm going to guess they pilfered the battery pack off a 600 film and just stuck it to the bottom of the itype film. They could have also swapped the film cartridges in a dark room/dark bag
@InAnInstant4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I stuck batteries onto the film packs, which is more precarious in the folding SLR cameras in my experience, resulting in some of those weird jamming/glitch shots we got. Was concerned for a minute about that, but per usual the camera bounced back on the next shot.

Out of all the collabs Polaroid has done I think the Stranger Things frames were the most creative/best looking. Also the retro vibe of Stranger Things fit perfectly with the retro vibes Polaroid gives off. It was just a perfect collab! I really wish I bought more of that stuff when it was out.

I'm gonna have to be on Matt's side with this one 😅 I've never seen Stranger Things, though after this I'm gonna have to check it out. The 80s theme was so creative. It was like a cross between nostalgia, Stranger Things and a clean 80s alternate reality. So many good photos but my favorite shots for this shoot were: ● Joane and Matt's laboratory/flasks polaroid because like, how DID THAT HAPPEN? Seriously! Polaroid LOVEEES light and your set-up was not very lighty yet it turned out AHwMAZING! So X-Filesish and ● You and Matt's nostalgic middle school, sitting-on-a-table polaroid and you guys' funny pose together 😅 Lucky you can all hangout with all your friends in person, in my case we only talk over video calls. You suck, Corona! So yeah, that was a good time. I totally relate with the expired film pack (I just shot with a 14-month old film pack) and mine didn't turn out nearly as good as yours. As always love your content! Keep 'em coming!

Appreciate you Manalo!! Yes that expired film can be so temperamental, I’m stunned to this day we got such good results. Great question - it’s somewhat random. I’d say at this point it would definitely already show signs of being expired, possibly even drastic effects or damage. Polaroid film is most certainly “shoot it if you got it.” I’ve sat on film too long that even in the fridge just didn’t hold up.

@@InAnInstant my maaan! So much experience and knowledge collected in one single person. I would love to watch it on a video so it could be a bit more understandable! Perhaps an episode of hacks and tricks? Gracias amigo! 😊

You guys rock! I loved the shots in the woods, the gradient colors looks great P.s. Matt went in full Tom Cruise's style (without stuntman), hope he's ok :)

Matt always does his own stunts and only experiences severe injury 50% of the time. Decent ratio of success! Thanks Cesar 🙌

Oml i love this vid, I've been here since day 1, it's so amazing keep up the good work! You're the one who really got me into analog instant photography, and I just want to say thank you. Keep up the good work! P.S. Still waiting on that review of the Diana Instant Square!

Haha thank you Aidan, absolutely loveee to hear that, means so much. And lolol about the Diana review, one day!! Just can't be buying up all these cameras for reviews. I pretty much review exclusively what I want to use at this point.

Hot damn that is awesome!! I definitely think it's the most vibey thing we've done, and I hope to continue those vibes further. Obviously far more challenging and time consuming to do vids like this but definitely worth it in the end I think.

Love this! I think the SLR 680 SE shots with the i-Type film swapped in are my favorite (that lighting with the beakers = 👌) Think they'll make another Stranger Things x Polaroid camera when season 4 eventually comes out?
@InAnInstant4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Danny! I feel like this collab is donezo but I’m thankful it existed at all. I truly think it was Polaroid’s smartest crossover since Impossible took over the brand name. Just really aligned with the aesthetic of the show in a perfect way.

@@InAnInstant Amen to all that! If the day comes they miraculously make an Upside Down-inspired SLR, though...💸 O_o
