DC was at its peak in filmmaking in the 80s. Marvel couldn't even compete at all. Until Blade turned things around for them in the late 90s, Marvel films sucked. The costumes were as bad as the acting. Of all the actors to play Captain America before Chris Evans, I would say Matt Sailinger was the only one who had any acting skills. The 1990 Captain America film had its problems, but it couldn't compare to all those bad versions from the 1960s through the 70s.

@@runswithphantoms Sports cars had cool designs in the 80's but they were often underpowered. 60's cars were much better. That was one of the few things where the 80's was lame. Cars were slow. They were all de-tuned, downsized, and jobbered out. Few stellar performance cars, and the ones that were good were much too expensive. I knew people with 60's muscle cars but only one guy with an 80's performance car back then. He had a Buick Grand National. Today I have people in Chargers, Challengers, and Mustangs racing up and down the road near my house all hours of the night. We don't lack for muscle cars. They're faster now than in the 60's.
