what tires are those and size? Height of suspension lift?
@taylorstrickland10359 жыл бұрын
the 3 fe is bullet proof.but it lacks in horse power and torque. that can be corrected will proper gearing and a transfer case reduction
@bygoran7 жыл бұрын
there is no way to correct it i done all that and no help still drives like it has parachute behind only solution is engine swap

And Marlins gears are only good for 25% lower. Our 80s are just fast on the trail and slow on the highway. Watched your build on mud. Nice rig

Damn bro, those sliders were doing work. Is that Sean's bumper? I though you were running a 4x4 labs. Oh and where is this?
@jcardona19 жыл бұрын
Elpolloblanco34 Yeah I have 4x4Labs front and back now. This was back in Sep'14. In this video I had Sean's rear bumper and AOE front. This was the Little Sluice on the Rubicon

really like those wheels, does anyone know who makes them?
@jcardona18 жыл бұрын
They are Level 8 "Strike 6" that I spray painted in bronze.
Is that a FZJ or FJ? I have an FJ80 with the 3fe and want to make a rig like this but I dont know if the 3FE is strong enough.
@jcardona19 жыл бұрын
Josh Jones This is an FZJ, 1996
@CrazyforCruiser9 жыл бұрын
Josh Jones I think 3FE is more powerful than 1FZ-FE.
@beardedfamilyman2439 жыл бұрын
I have a 3fe in my 91 and I really want to build it like this one but even with 31s it's a pig. I'm afraid if I lift it and go 33s with a roof rack, and bumpers I would have to go with like 513 gears just to keep it moving. Then I lose my highway capabilities.
@mikeomartin24519 жыл бұрын
Kamran Khan The 1FZ-FE produces more hp and torque. 212 hp and 275ft/lb
@FJ80Coop9 жыл бұрын
Josh Jones For the money it takes to make your engine make some decent hp you'll be much better off,and cost around the same to swap in an LS motor,or any Chevy V8 which is an old,tired,but tried,and true way to make power cheaply..Just to have the head built properly can run you into $3k easily ,then you need to upgrade the entire fuel system,custom ground cam,and exhaust to get the most out of the headwork,and by that time the v8 adapter,wiring harness,and engine is looking cheaper, to make more hp than your I6 ever will..OR you could swap in the Yota v8 fairly easily with much easier harness work,and fitment than the Chevy.. I ran 35 TSL Sxs,and 38 SXs on my 92 with plenty of power in every condition after I swapped in the LS6 (measly 450 hp stock) I modded for it...Stock gear ratios with ARBs front,and rear.Porsche birfields,manual front hubs (order em from Australia)ARB bull bar front,custom rear,built in air tanks,compressor,OME 3" lift,with custom perches for 3" more,Arm bushing kit.lowered rear arm mounts,Bushwhacker cutout fender flares,Warn 9k rear,modded 8724 front,blah,blah,blah,point,and go all day long,and get 20+mpg on the highway loaded down with ac on..The gas cost savings over the 10-11 mpg best paid for most of the conversion after a couple of years.. Well worth it..The LS Parts are more plentiful,and cheaper too..
