How wonderful it is to that we don't have to depend upon our own attempts at "pleasing the Father through ritual" but knowing that we are pleasing to Him through faith in our RELATIONSHIP with Jesus His Son! For as Jesus is to the Father, so are we having been made the righteousness of God in Him! Let us be about the Father's business whilst He gives us the time but come quickly Lord Jesus, come quickly! As for the paint, I agree, the white looks excellent on that car! I'm not a "painter" and I've never used the "2K clear coat." One of my old cars had been damaged at some point in the past and repainted/clear coat. The clear coat is wearing off in tiny white specks on the metal parts but it's peeling in flakes on the plastic parts. I wondered how "2K" might react with certain paints or if "2K" is virtually compatible with "most/all paints."

idk if you know but those rustoleum 5 in 1 caps it fits on the normal cans, and usually u can get 6 cans for 30 off amazon on normal colors, thats usually the caps i use them for like 4 cans for safety and that way i save more money 😅

Yup I mentioned it a video but just know if you use the 5 in 1 smoke grey and swap the cap to a non 5-1 smoke grey can just a normal smoke grey can just know they aren't the same shade of smoke grey.

Thanks I don't think It's worth it. I Would have taken me another month just to get this video out because i need to let it cure and it's colder out so cure time is much slower then sand down paint entire panel again just for fixing that run. Appreciate the input though

Hey brother! I just wanted to thank you for all of your great content. Over Christmas break, since I was off work, I painted my 1991 4 door S10 Blazer using your guidance. I did a gloss white base coat and mixed 2 different Rustoleum Chameleon colors over that. Man, it looks crazy!! I am so thrilled. I got a couple runs but NOBODY believes its spray can when I show them pictures. I'm waiting on cure time to sand and do Spraymax 2k gloss. How can I share some pictures of my truck with you? The turbo cans are great for covering large areas with ease but they orange peel a little more than the 5-1 cans. I prefer the 5-1 9/10 but there is always that 1 special project where i need the turbo cans.

From thumb nail I thought it was a JDM front clip integra. These 96-97 accords are real cool. My problem with folks and old school Hondas or cars in general seems like, I always think residually. When you change a for example dark green metallic oem to randomly gray or white, whether it’s an expensive car or not I’m like man just killed the value. It looks good for sure though, I’d just spend the money to get a paint store to sell you mixed oem color coded cans.

I have a JDI push button start for this. This one currently installed is similar and you have to hit unlock on the key fob then hold the brake push the button. It will not work without the key fob it's interesting

Yes i have had it last years if you take care of it. Park in the shade as much as you can and if possible garage keep it but even without doing that it still holds up great!

Well the grey is like a primer it just all needs to be the same color for best results that's the job of the primer. To answer the question no it don't need primer the newer paint is a lot better now days than it use to be.

Since i did that last time I painted the grey it's already bonded good just needed a scuff and shoot. You can use adhesion promoter to help bond if you would like or sand with 320 and do it how i normally show. Either way it works.

What about automotive metallic paints that you can buy in cans from an auto paint store? How hard is it to spray metallics?

Metallics can be tricky but you do light coats and you count the coats and every panel should have the same amount of paint per panel or you can tell. I haven't done metallic touch up paints but I have a video of metallic blue flake civic I did on the channel.

Is this color changing in the US legal? I mean, where I live in the EU, the "base color" of the car, is registered in the car's documents, therefore such a change would be illegal, or one would end up with a greater paperwork round.

In the US, vehicle titles and state registrations have the color listed. Technically, you need to change that when you change your car color but that has fallen out of being enforced as vehicle wraps become more and more popular. In NY, people tend to wait until the next registration renewal is due to change it IF they even know about it. Cheers

I have used spray can paint over automotive paint with no issues and the how long it last is all depending on many factors, prep, how it's taken care of and so on. I have seen 4-5yrs even without clear but well maintained and garage kept when not in use.

Real auto paint over spray cans will cause it to wrinkle. The solvents will soften the non catilized paint. If someone with a spray can car wants auto paint the best thing is to strip it to bare metal.

small project use rattle cans I would recommended whole car with cans I would not use spray gun and you will give you way better results plus it better learn more on spray gun anyway just my option

Hard to see with time lapse but i did it lighter then went over it right after again. If you do light coats and wait to dry for 10 mins then go over it again it achieves the same results. I just speed up the process and runs can happen because of that 😅
