Difference in sound quality,depth and bass in regards to the cheaper H9?Im buying one or the other and need to know if its worth the extra money
@iamyoda664 жыл бұрын
I own both the H9 3rd gen and the H95. The H95 audio quality is better in every way, the ANC is also better. Going back from the H95 to H9 3rd gen is a big difference IMHO. Although on it’s own the H9 is pretty good too and I had bought the H9 after comparing it to the Bose and Sony (as I am sure a lot of people shop between them).

How do the Beoplay H95 Bluetooth over ear headphones sound compared to other Bluetooth headphones in the same price range? Which pair in your opinion do you think 🤔 are the best Bluetooth wireless headphones 🎧 to play Hiphop and Reggae music? I love bass, clarity, and loudness. Little background I have not bought a pair of over ear headphones in almost a decade. I currently own Dre Beats Studios and Marley Deluxe headphones both plug-in headphones. I am looking to upgrade to Bluetooth wireless headphones but want the clearest, loudest, and bassiest headphones on the market regardless of price. I just want the best Bluetooth headphones for these two genres of music in particular. Thanks in advance if you have any suggestions much appreciated!
@MrExitStrategy4 жыл бұрын
I honestly haven't bought/tried any other headphones in the same price range, so I don't want to give you the wrong advice. To me the H95 delivers clean bass (but not overly so), and while I do not have an issue with the loudness, I believe some people think the volume limit is too low for their liking. I highly suggest you try them on in person at a B&O store before making the decision. I would also probably wait to see what Apple has up its sleeve on the AirPods Studio, it should be quite an upgrade from Beats.

Hey, really liked your video! Would you mind talking in greater detail about differences in ANC performance between your AirPods Pro and the H95 now that you've had the 95s for a few days. And, if not too much to ask, could you briefly speak about bass, mids and treble differences on both? No audiophile jargon necessary, just from your perspective what differences you hear. I think, btw, the AirPods Pro sound pretty good, but I'd expect the 95s, at this price and being full-sized headphones, to sound better, if not quite a bit better. If you could just say how, that'd be much appreciated. Thanks.
@MrExitStrategy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The main difference I notice in the ANC performance between the two is that the AirPods Pro has more of the white noise when the ANC is on and I do hear just a tad more background noise. The H95 on the other hand has less of the white noise effect with the ANC on and it seems to cancel more background noise (both in terms of constant sound like AC/airplane noise and background music/conversation). With music playing however, you won't notice the difference that much. The thing I also said in the video is that the transparency mode is much much more natural sounding on the AirPods Pro than the H95. As for the sound, the H95, to me, just sounds so much fuller with a deeper and cleaner bass, the mids and highs are both more pronounced but still very natural sounding. The H95 has a much wider soundstage, but that's probably mainly due to the type of the headphones. Hope this helps.
@judgetk33094 жыл бұрын
@@MrExitStrategy Thank you. Yes, I think I have a better idea now of ANC and sound quality on the H95. Shame transparency mode isn't as good, that is quite a bit less natural sounding, you did emphasise ("much much") how much better this feature is on the AirPods Pro. Thanks gain.

Thanks for an excellent video. The comparison with the AirPods pro was interesting. I think it is appropriate just because those are what you would be using in your life. Not because they are compared in terms of their build or function or features. So for your life when choosing which to take with you - you might compare them and that was quite useful. Many people will be making the same choice so I am glad you made the comparison and am appreciative of the sensitive way you did it. Not many people have given these a real review yet but the lifestyle review you did was very informative. Thanks. I am very interested but that $800.00 price tag is a big one. I will be looking out for more reviews which are more technically focused with sound comparisons etc. Yours was great for answering 'Is there any way these fit into my life?' and for that I thank you. I think for those who have ever heard and loved the sound of the H6, H7 (Like butter - they are luxurious) or H9 (and possibly the H8), these might be interesting. I wonder if anyone else who is not already a big fan of the B&O signature would even be interested or would not be made to run away by the price tag. Sony has just released the MX-1000MK4 as a follow up to the MK3 which were already the best in the world at ANC, even if other headphones sound better musically. With Sennheiser, Bose and others having thrown significant hats in the ring with their top of the range headphones at less than half the price, it will be interesting to see if and how B&O respond. Well done for making the video and for the care you took in making it. Wishing you all the best!. Keep doing what you do!. 🔥🔥

Thank you, I really appreciate that. I think you're spot on about the target customers being those who like the B&O sound signature and products. I haven't tried the MX-100MK4 yet but have heard so many good things about them.

Hi thanks for this nice unboxing of those limited edition. I think the color black will only for those 95 specials headsets, regular versions will be grey and maybe beige? The H95 were on my radar and they also use APT-X adaptive that could be a nice substitue for LDAC to us android users. And i like those earcups dials that was first found before on Surface headphones too i believe. Can you tell us if they work connected with the usb-c cable too( audio over usb) I also wonder if they are better than new Sony XM4 on some levels mainly for sounds. I like the box, it is more convenient to open with a button instead of a zipper...but you did say that it would be prone to scraches... I need to check other reviews (for sound quality and noise cancelling...as well as the app features)..i pretty like great audio in a pair of headphone but i like convenience too . Thanks again.

I thought so too, but on their website it seems that the Black one will be available in Sept as well. I just tried the headphones with my Pixel 3 over USB-C and it works. So I consider myself an audiophile and I'm huge into home theater and 2 channel systems. Im trying to find the best headset for movie watching. So if Im not able to turn my surround sound on a suitable replacement that will give me the best experience through headphones is what I'm looking for. Money isn't an object with this so Id like to know if you could try these on with a movie that has a surround sound mix and let us know how they perform with this type of application. How are the dynamics of the drivers, how does it balance the sound from vocal to music to background sound. How are surround effects and it's dimensionality. All these things are what I'm interested in. My TV is able to connect a wireless Bluetooth headset and output the sound so I guess unless you have a capable tv you'd have to do this on a laptop with appropriate Dolby or DTS drivers. Thank you in advance if you're able to make this happen.

Hello, I received H95 today, I have also Sony WH-1000xm4. First impresion is that xm4 has little bit more place for ears. H95 is much nicer and looks more luxury. And now about sound. I dont know, Sony is sharper and bass is brighter. When I listen piano in Sony I hear moving pedals, moving keys much brighter than in H95. It looks that XM4 has more dynamic and H95 is flatter. But when you listen for a long time, the flatness of the H95 is actually more pleasant. It is not easy to say which is better.
