I’ve been looking at reviews on these two for quite awhile. Great to come across such an honest and informative review. Ron, an amazing song to use for reviewing headphones is Deja vu by Teena Marie. Soundstage, presence, separation, clarity.. it has it all !

I think with the new interface of the B&O app, you long press the circle icon on the sound mode button on the main page to access the setting of the currently selected EQ profile, and then you can edit it there. I noticed that all your reviews are with reference to your preferred EQ settings only. Maybe it will be helpful that you also include your impressions with the default EQ settings in your reviews, including this kind of head-to-head reviews. For example, I was wondering whether the recessed saxophone on the H95 for the Kenny G song was due to your EQ setting (which boosted bass and high to maximum).

I like the head to heads but could you do a categorized top 3 for comfort, sound, ANC and an overall top 10? Keep up the great work Ron.

I can't spend $1,500 on a pair of headphones right now. If i could, I would have the Dali IO-12s right now.

@ronontech The Dali IO-12's appear to be very solid. I do own the ML 5909. It's hard for me to justify spending more money for another pair of headphones. Curiosity does get the best of us at times.

Ron, did you at some point in your sweet infancy imagined to have about $2000 plus, on your hands on a couple of expensive toys? when I get to have one of these or other things that I saved and earned for some time or even if I get as gift, I feel like I went back to my childhood, the amount of research and then savings put on these...

Actually, no, I didn't. At least not at this point. I still get giddy when I get to play with new toys of any price. But especially the premium ones. 😂 There are still a few premium headphones and earbuds that I have my eye on. Gotta get the $$$ under control first.
