We had such a terrible scare today. Our Frankie girl was suddenly so still and barely breathing. Rushed her to emergency. It turns out that she was in anaphylactic shock. I’ve never heard of such a thing for dogs. The vet said this is rare. I’m so thankful that she’s ok now especially being a pug so small.

Margarita Mom, I am so sorry to hear about your pug but glad to know that she is okay. Did the veterinarian determine the cause of the anaphylaxis? This is usually triggered by something. Sometimes bees or vaccines can cause this.

@@docpugstarz7411 Good Morning. Frankie is back to her self running and playing. The Dr could not say 100% for sure, but more than likely it was a bee sting. So just a warning for everyone. It’s rare, but possible.
