Plastering of limestone on wall was once done in South Indian still one of my friends farm has a house.

@@ForumShah Hai Babee, yes these days Putty is used to Wall Smoothing in those days our elders have used limestone,Kadukai (in Tamil),eggs etc so that Wall will be Shining and Smooth.
