Such a nice car, with power like that, Autobahn is the only place for it. Here in Norway speeds like this will put you in jail for a long time, and probably loose you licence for 2-5 years. Then you have to do the tests like you did at 18. Crazy controlling government we have in Norway. God bless and lots of love from Norway.

It’s seems that it requires a TCU tune aswell to improve the launch control time. It seems that the transmission is confused with the extra torque and tells the ecu to limit boost on first gear launches. I don’t think it’s turbo lag since stock ZF torque converter Audis launch much harder. If one is only seeking 100-200 pulls then it doesn’t really matter.

@@_IMNNOYeah these double clutch gearboxes should always be tuned as well, as these gearboxes heavily rly on a given shift strategy based on engine data. Obviously engine data differs from stock after ecu tune.

@@jcsdesign Possibly. What concerned me was @0:37, the first gear launch was pretty laggy. The boost didn’t kick in until 2 seconds later. Even stock ECU/TCU tuned Audis with the ZF torque converter launch much harder. I suspect the 800hp ecu tune is confusing the torque sensors on the tranny and it’s telling the ecu to limit boost until the converter locks up.

Launch is soft but most likely to protect the transmission as well as to avoid any traction issues. Other than that this thing is sick!
