I was told by a old timer to charge the magnet on the mag. He sed it makes a big difference in the charge. Any time u pull the magnet or Armature out it can lose magnesium he sed to always do them as a whole unit when you can. He use to work on these 80 years ago

actually a bigger battery wouldnt change much. The current I= 12V/R where R is proportional to the length of the wire windings. That battery is plenty. Probably should add a capacitor to that system.

Im no expert but this is my understanding. The magnetic field lines induce a current in the coils by pushing/pulling the electrons in the wires. Magnetizer is basically the opposite, using field created around the coils with electricity the rearrange/polarize the electrons in the rotor.

I could be being silly but I am sure than magnets come off charged at opposite poles to the electric field. So you need to place your magnet at opposite poles, not like poles. I could be wrong but I don't think I am, I believe that's why it appeared as if it didn't work
@aspensulphate
@aspensulphate 6 жыл бұрын
That is what he did. Did you see when he suspended the magnet above the charger poles with the string? The North pole of the suspended magnet seeks the South pole of the charger, and vice versa. North to South, and South to North.

its not the mather how strong the magnetism is its a mather that you can and are abel to magnetise any thing out of steal and other metas the use of it is by creation of a multi pole piece of diferent shapes used mainly for ac generators ore motors ore dc motor/generator just like the good old magneto power out of any thing simply that can spin thats what peopel are after the free rate of spining objects that are normaly not used at all so any cinde of movement can by turned from wasted to usabel work simply and logicaly and that "any thing" you want only by that litel info is enough reason to use that old tehnology!!!
