not really a waltz as it defaults to the waltz as a tonic and uses the 6/8 as a dominator - but it's nice; thing with a waltz is you can play it in jig time - it's a stretch but you can do it - it's called dotted I think or tails ; one of those things ; and you can also do that on a 4/4, but just to turn a 6/8 to a 3/4 is a bit smoke and mirrors, certainly not a waltz if I may be permitted to show my workings on this critique please refer to kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXTQc5SEqdeZitk for a typical usage of 6/8 against standard time - feel free to be baffled
