8086 Physical Memory Organisation | Memory Banking | Even and Odd Banks

In this video, I have explained how actually 8086 addressable memory is divided into banking with an example. Memory banking is physical memory organisation and Memory segmentation is logical memeory organisation.
A0 and BHE are used to select the banks.

why the even memory bank is also know as lower order and odd memory as higher order ( is it because Even bank always gives lower byte So Even bank is also called Lower bank(LB) and Odd bank is also called Higher bank) if there is any other reason please tell me and why even bank is chosen to give lower byte and odd bank to give higher byte
