hello, I have a Siemens 808, I can't understand how the machine is supposed to understand the parameters of the workpiece in cycle #95? You can enter parameters in the synutrain, but there is no such thing on the machine???

the 840 programs a little different that the 808. you need a cycle62 call before your turning cycle. take a look at this video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHireYJsirFni5Y

Simple go to the jog screen and expand your horizontal softkeys with the grey right arrow till you see the horizontal softkey for Settings. Select settings and you will see a vertical softkey for Changeover metric. this will switch the systems unit of measure.
