My only concern is the the little clamp that secures the vacuum hose to the bpv. It looks like in will rub the uicp hose and break it over time. Check on that. Maybe by cutting half an inch on the hose that goes from the bpv to the licp might do the trick and give you more clearance.

Well, that's obvious. As an Evo owner, all I can suggest is that you really study your car. Find the restrictions in airflow and assign each restriction a priority, then do your homework on better parts piece by piece from top priority to bottom. The RA is a great car, lots of potential. FMIC is the least of your worries. Before you have to worry about heat soaking the stock FMIC you're bottlenecked at your piping.

Make sure all your clamps are tight and installed correctly. Could be leaking

Thatdoesntcostmoney your gonna have to buy one with two diff diameters. One side for the intercooler the other for the LICP. Not sure of the sizes anymore

@@TheSnyds oh okay cool. Yeah i read online that the ralliart stock intercooler is to small and gets heaksoak quickly. And i heard that a after market intercooler is over kill for the stock RA turbo. So i got the evo x intercooler gonna be installing this saturday on a military base. The evo x intercooler is a perfect size for the RA, the goal is to Retain power not lose it Lol. Also your Videos are Awesome man. Keep it up

@@RalliartDylan it went super well bro , I manual swapped not too long ago also , pushing 10 pounds of boost 13 max but it’s risky since the rods are paper thin on the lancers , I’m planning on rebuilding the block soon with 2013 Hyundai Genesis Bk2 internals, I’ll be good for about 350hp to possibly 400hp no problem depends on the mods and full set up I go with , overall though I’m pretty excited with this boosted lancer

I have done upper pipe for my Turbo spool. Lower pipe I just ordered now on Amazon. My Ralliart Sportback has 210,000km on the clock. Just did repairs on Shift fork 4 as it was falling off and throw it into limp. I've done 3port, upper Piper, Evo X OEM intercooler upgrade, HEL braided lines, DBA gold series fronts, DBA T2 rears, white line adjustable rear sway bar, Mach 2 GFB, dump back AMS Cat to rear MRT muffler and Dyno tuned. Next stage is a high flow Ralliart twin scroll turbo developed by boostin juice performance, injector's, and fuel pump and I'm done :)

Why does no one remove the damn undertray before trying to do this?! You remove SOOOOO much other shit, take the extra 30-40 seconds and remove the damn undertray and save yourself some aggravation 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Not understanding why you'd purchase an OEM Evo X intercooler over a 3" or 3.5" Depo or Treadstone.. The Evo X FMIC is not very efficient..not enough more than the stock RA to put out the effort. :/ ??? And why is it that god awful color!?
