My favourite bad ad from that era was for a Perth car dealer - Barron Nissan. It featured 3 Asian looking guys, supposedly Japanese Nissan executives, who had come to Perth to learn Mr Barron's s secret to car sales success. Using a 'green screen' computer of that time Barron would hit the keyboard and up would flash a message like "BEST TRADE-INS", "BEST SERVICE", "BEST DEALS". The Japanese businessmen all looked astonished at such brilliant original concepts.

Perhaps "credit" is more appropriate. Cuz what I did do was buy old VHS/Betamax tapes, go through them, digitise them, and edit everything together. A fair amount of work to bring people this stuff.
