As much as I love this channel it really jams my glock that a lot of the songs don't be on streaming. I know that's the point but still.

Helllo! I am an aspiring DJ and wish to learn what is the difference + Pros and cons of using these kind of equipment and record turntables VERSUS the common equipment I see other Dj's use at events which are not record turntables. it is more digital?

ALso , as an aspiring career , I wish to play music as a form of mental peace to help people have a nice time. I often wonder how lucrative in dollars it is for me to generate money in this field of work? (Me soul searching the right career path to put my energy into that can help me also make good money stress free and flexible)

Your levels are so different to the adds. I tried to listen, turned it up and then a add came on a blew my ears out after playing roulett as to when it would happen 3 times and i was out... nice set though from what I did hear.

can anyone let me know about the licensing, are they able to just write 'all music belongs to their rightful owner' kinda thing, sounds edgy or does it work ? love it anyway
@MyAnalogJournal Жыл бұрын
We don’t gain any income from KZbin ads or monetization because of the copyrghted music usage. The royalties belong to the artists and copyright holders. KZbin automatically monetize the videos and decides the amount and placement of the ads. - Most publishers are ok with their content being used, as long as they get the monetisation. And some are not, and they decide to block the content.
@RapmasterY Жыл бұрын
@MyAnalogJournal I see !! I am asking because I am currently trying to figure out a way to stream music too, so I thank you for your feedback :) So you can do what you do, for the love of music, vibrations and sharing. May I ask, do you do create any income still? I mean, how do you enable everything, set design, your time and efforts? Because this solution you have there, seems to be working, from a loving point of view, which I share here too, so this could work for us too, yet is there a way to monetize, something? Perhaps having a Patreon (didn't research you amazing people enough yet, to understand your whole presence) could work, where listeners can feel free to donate to the team behind? Thank you for any feedback, since im in between ideas of streaming through mixcloud for example, who takes care of music rights, but I rather have an own webiste/URL/platform, for which then I would need to cover the licensing for , yet I don't even know how much I should actually care, how much we can trust our PPL's and PRR's, who are kind of out dated institutions, overcharging, overanalysing, underloving, at least that's what I got from it all so far, giving me headaches and obstacles, yet to overcome. Should I just start an own platform/website and stream artists live and offer the podcasts after too, and monetize (to keep it running) through some sort of members club things where people can be part of something and support the cause, in order for us to pay web development/running of things/time/equipment. So when I came across you guys here through a friend who recommended me to check you guys, you do very beautifully, and seemingly very much from the heart and not for the capitalism, so I resonate, and felt free to ask you some questions here... Thank you :) :) Much love Jan

@@MyAnalogJournal so we can just play peoples music on a own website and don't care much , wait for whoever donesn't want us to play their music, they can come afterwards and say they , for example, if we upload a podcast/recording of the set a DJ played, if they want the set to be removed from the site because their track is in it. Then we would have to do that. But otherwise. We can just roll with it, play whatever, whenever. ~ so basically our idea was to stream from our warehouse onto our own platform /website, but host the podcasts/recordings afterwards on the website, so then that should be fine, but when we live stream on our own website, we might jump into 'problem's but maybe not at all, its's live, who cares about liver, we just do what we do , right? sorrry I am thinking a lot and i got stuck at this project when i had to deal with all the PRS/PPL stuffingtongs, and i really just wanna let people play and play and relax and share and love If you had any inputs. I'm trying to get to speak with a music rights lawyer too. i might overcomplicate things.

@MyAnalogJournal Жыл бұрын
Hi Christopher, I understand the frustration. But I must say that we don’t gain any income from KZbin ads or monetization because of the copyrighted music usage. The royalties belong to the artists and copyright holders. KZbin automatically monetize the videos and decides the amount and placement of the ads. We don’t have a say in this. To enjoy the mixes ad free, you can choose KZbin premium. Alternatively we share private audio links of every episode via Soundcloud with our silver and gold tier Patreon supporters.
