Sammo's amazing. Under that hefty exterior are muscles trained for almost a decade under Yu Jim-yuen, a strict martial arts master whose response to fuckups was to lash the shit out of his students with a bamboo cane. If you couldn't do the splits he'd eventually just push you down into them, and if your hamstrings tore, so be it.

If Jackie Chan is in a movie you can bet some undercranking or frame deletion was used. Most Hong Kong movies employ at least a bit of undercranking to speed up the action. A notable exception was Bruce Lee, who was so fast some of his scenes had to be overcranked so you could even see his moves clearly.

And then 35 years later, the choreography and work no longer exists in action movies (Except for Jackie sometimes and the Indonesian team of Iko Uwai). The morons create movements of "feminists" to overcome a frustration they create themselves and now we eat shit at 200 million dollars "Captain Marvel" or the heroine did not fight outside a background green once and especially where there are cuts every second to show that the actress can not do anything ... Thanks to Chinese cinema / Hong Kong for producing such good films, they do not need to make their women go crazy.

Hitomi Akane As far as I know, he had an issue with Bruce one, over the fact Bruce Lee asked him to be in a movie, which Sammo agreed, but then Bruce vanished, and he didn't hear about the movie or from Bruce for months and months, so he agreed to another project. Bruce then suddenly called him 8 or 9 months later and asked him to come for the movie, but he couldn't due to his new project and he was out of the country. Bruce got mad and called him a liar, which upset him. He ended up going to film with Bruce and they talked about it and it was fixed. It was a misunderstanding, at best.

As hot as Michiko was, the really scary bit is the table stunt at 2:00. Notice the glass doesn't shatter like most stunt glass. It breaks into plates. There's a couple ways to do that, but all of them are significantly more dangerous and there's a decent chance the stuntman going through the glass is going to get cut, and bad luck can mean landing on an edge which even with pre-broken and flattened edges can still be like landing on an axe blade.
