Yea when I was a kid, the narrators voice was so soothing and I felt safe and warm from his strong assuring voice and would drift off to sleep while mom and dad were watching the FBI files on tv in the other room.

Growing up in Philly, during my childhood, we had Gary Heidnik. He was like the prototype for Jeffrey Dahmer. He lived a few blocks from my grade school.

Boy oh boy, Gary was one sick puppy. They got the idea for the torture pit in Silence of the Lambs from his heinous acts if I’m not mistaken.

I was in prison with Debra Brown, she had been there for for a little over 20 years by the time I came along, but I can tell you she, by then, was not who she had been when she came to prison in 1989 I believe it was. Not that that excuses the horrible things she did with Alton Coleman.

@@Ariadne76-k3d People can definitely change. Also, I didn’t mention that her IQ was 57 at the time of the crime spree and I don’t think that rose much after the 20+ years she’d been incarcerated when I met her. I do know she’s never laid a finger on anyone in the almost 40 years now she’s been in prison. That’s hardly what one can call being “still a monstrous person”
