I'm not even a Giants fan and I remember when they lost that last game of the season to the Patriots Michael Strahan said at the end of the game that if they were to play the Patriots again that season that they were going to beat them and they did in the sb

That '97 season playoff game against the Vikings was a nailbiter. I think it would be fair to call the Giants the Vikings kryptonite. Because other than that game, they've mostly blown MIN off the field in the playoffs.

Only thing that i dislike about the giants is that they changed their uniform and helmet in 80s. The Ny cound be Nj. They grey pants with blue jersey is really a great combo. The confederates might nit like it. Only the chargers Powder blue and gold is better. As a Bears fan the 70s and 80s had the NFC East with the most exciting late games on CB S with Pat Summerall doing play by play. The Nfc from 81 to 89 had to be as brutal as AFC from 70s. 9rs, then Skins with the rams in west. Then bears from 83 on. Next year giants. From 83 on you had to play giants,bears,Skins, 9rs,rams, to get to Superbowl. Only rams didnt win title. Giant,redskins won with backup QBs. Parcells was the boss and he was upfront with his players rught away. Ditka let his ego ruin the bears. Buddy Ryan was not one ti pull punches. He was asked how LT was the most dominate LB in league. He said Carson was key to giants 3-4. They have people convinced not to run at Taylor. My kid is able to rush, drop into zone or cover back one on one. He could be the best middle linebacker in a 4 3. That was wilber marshall. Bears let him gi to Skins at 26 27. Look up his stats in sports reference. Compare him to LT. Or Seau. You could put Marshall or My #1 olb Derrick Brooks in Taylor's shoes and not miss a beat. Like Vikings Hof Alan Page he was undersized DT at 240 in 70s. He used his quickness and ability to read snapcount and rundiwn plays like LT. His weakness was running right at him. My alltime overrated player ever like that? In mid 90s USA Today polled 1/3 of NFL players blindly. It asked best QB,Wr,Rb. Best coaches, best teams to play fir and si forth. No one scored mire than 42 43%. Like Qbs were 35,33,30. Marino, Montana, elway i recall were it. The only question over 50% was Who is the most OVERRATED PLAYER. 72% said Dieon Sanders. Once he was on ellard in the slot and played him 4 yards off ball and 2 3 yards to outside. The color guy just laughed and said. Dieon is fast but to show this challenge is just three steps and if he catches ball in stride there is no way dieon will catch him. Snap hits him in stride and for first 25 yards dieon closes the gap to 4 yards then elkard just pulks away in next 20. Look up Sanders vs Henry elkard. It is the stupidity that is amazing. He is covering a guy who jumped 271 and had been in 4x100 relay squads for american national teams.
