81 Speedway is NO Joke!

Today we had to Wichita Kansas home of 81 Speedway. It looks like a big 3/8 mile! Back in the RMS Racing 7X. It was a busy night after finding a electrical issue and a water leak. Had a good run started 10th finished sixth at the end but halfway through the race it looks like we had a shot to win but I burned the tire off as always. Thanks for watching. Thanks for the Ride A Long at my hometown track. Telemetry was cool add on , hitting 100 and the end of front strech ! Thanks for all your camera / edit work , get rid of them gremblin's and you have a rocket ride. Best of Luck and Skill through the season.

Hat's off to the new owners and crew and the new Promoter, John Allen. I haven't made it to 81 yet this year but always go frequently. I've watched John Allen race over the years. He was a heck of a driver and very nice guy! Excellent Promoter! I wish he would take over promoting The Hutchinson Nationals to keep the tradition going. 66 years of racing and the new fair manager wants to do away with them for no good reason.

Heck of a drive in the main, flat out and motor screaming like its supposed to be!!! Great drive, loving all of the new camera angles!! That tire was pretty well toasted sheesh!

Looks like a fun fast track. Sometimes I wish I grew up in the mid west. I think you would have loved Flemington Speedway in NJ. 5/8 mile D shaped track. You could run that track buttoned, 122 mph avg in a winged midget. Long gone now. Love your videos. Thank you so much, it has renewed my love for open wheel racing !!! Do you do any asphalt racing? I love dirt racing but my first love was asphalt racing. TQ, Full Midget, Supers.

Midgets looks scary fast in your videos! I see they've added walls in the turns. I used to watch cars sail over them. When I came to Wichita in the late nineties, good field count, well organized, great racing. I really enjoyed coming from the base to watch races. It just seem to really fall off after 2005. A lot of favoritism, low car counts, terrible track prep.I think the last time I went was maybe 2015. Need someone to show on KZbin whats happening. Might go back if its good. I'll have to look at their schedule for the rest of the year
