Good lord...that'll make a toe tap. As others have noted, the fiddling is great, but what really makes me smile is Bub's popping, punchy, rock solid bass.

Pre Covid days our BG club had a jam session. In attendance were fiddle players Lloyd Hanch and Bill Becker and banjo player Wyme Harris. They broke out on Sally Goodin. 1st Lloyd on lead fiddle, the the next turn arround with twin fiddles. On the 3rd break Wayne played the banjo break exactly like Russ. Best jam song I was ever involved in. Just wish I had recorded it. MY BAD!!! All the players (me included) have at least 40 years playing experience. I've played for 70 years (1949) just about when Monroe developed this genre.

My wife unexpectedly came out to the shop at 2am to check on me last night. She walked in the door to this song at max volume, me dancing around, stomping and hollering while holding a crescent wrench and a torch, grease from head to toe. Boy was it awkward when I opened my eyes and looked up and realized she’d been watching for 3 minutes. Got so quiet you coulda heard a mouse pissin on a cottonball!
