Dear Sir, I have a question if we have to find number of holidays and sundays and listing them in a column ( For example we have 5 sundays and 2 holidays, then Total off day will be 7. The year should also have a drop-down list to choose the year and the attendance sheet changes according to the selected year and month. Overall great VDO. Teaching is good, felt that you are in front of me...

How to find out,when an employee worked for more than 24 hours continuously ...I.e yesterday' day and night and again today's day...because an employee should not continue his duty more than 12 hrs ....so please clarify

You can add as much employee as you want but in this tutorial we have taken the range upto 10 employees , you can take it for 100 employees.

You can type your weekends in Weekend list and Holidays in the holiday list in the setting sheet. If you have different holiday list then you cannot do that in this sheet. But still you can do this by keeping all holiday dates in single list.

if you want it for a single month and whwn you change the month it will change the result according to the month then use this formula, =countif(C4:AG4,">0")

Superb video. I was able to create the sheet for my team. Need one help though. What formula do I need if I want to make sure any leave mentioned is automatically highlighted in color. Like if I put SL I want it be in red font

If you want to highlight the cells that contain leave then you have to use conditional formatting. Go to Conditional formatting-> New rule-> Use a formula to determine which cell to Format and use thins formula =D1="SL" Use different condtional formatting for different leaves.
