im in the air force. tmde stands for test measurement and diagnostic equipment. tmde calibrates tools we use to measure highly sensitive aircraft parts like calipers, torque wrenches, etc. its probably in such good shape because these guys keep a really clean shop. i figured you wouldnt mind some food for thought.

Where did you find such a beauty? I'd love to see what you do with it. It would make a great van conversion. You could do so much with it. I like the little storage underneath, its just the right size for a folding card table and chairs. With an awning on that side you could also install an outdoor kitchen. Great possibilities.

Questions for you: Have a friend that own a similar truck GMC Olson Kurbmaster prob. from the 1980's. The back door to the trunk is a metal latch for the trunk. Under the latch was a long piece of metal with 2 hooks where he put a padlock to keep it shut. Were the metal piece with hooks for the padlock original? Or soldered into the back door later because the latch was broken? Can you actually access the trunk from the front driver - passenger compartment? Or only from the back?
