Absolutely stunning. I also build a 2.1 stroker fully forge from top to bottom . My blob STI that’s a UK import is still running the stock turbo VF34 need to change my turbo and go GT 35r as my HKS cams will work well with them . Your car sound angry love it 😍.

Keep 'em coming dude - I like what you're doing. Yeah I should have the equivalent of at least 3 of these things by now, doing the meth (heheh see what I did there.) Watched this numerous times. Throw enough cash at these Subies and they are up there with the rest - bulletproof the engine and boost it up like this one (prob the price of a nice used RS3 alone) and I feel it crosses over into supercar territory. Great to see people going all in like this bloke. Maybe a more mid-sized turbo with focus on response for practical street use here but no arguing with this monster once it hits 4k. Big fan of the built EZ30 TT route here - please be on the lookout for such feature content in future. Was very close to buying one of those MPS's myself a while back no nice to yours mate.

Nah most sti ej257 owners say it's better to destroke to 2.35. I do know yours is a ej255 but it's the same for that too

@@zhongxina2793 better for reliability surely, but not power, which is why I said with a proper set-up, meaning overbored or stroked + pinned, with supporting mods. Haven't actually heard of any destroked Subarus, but it sounds interesting. Wouldn't destroking lower the compression ratio? Genuinely curious as I have zero experience with such setups.

What an amazing car, really well built. I have an Evo IX running 500bhp. I am not one of these people, that is hung up on just Mitsubishi's, I do appreciate Subaru's too. My first fast car was a Subaru STI back in 2000, I loved it. I think the boxer engine sounds amazing.

JDM Subie 876 it's been flocked mate...it's a nylon compound that looks a bit like velvet when applied,it stops glare..you can buy a cheap kit on ebay or get a professional job done.

Peter Walker relax its not a big deal, yeh its powerful asf for a 4 bangar and for a 2.1 but its all going through 4wd so its not That impressive id rather have that goingg through fwd or rwd atleast that way you can smoke them up at the lights and do some 2nd an 3rd gear rolling burnouts, which is what people like at car meets, you cant do anything fun with awd unless the car is pushed to the edge of its limits. i run 300 bhp through 5 cylinders and fwd atm and that IS fun

Spool me Up 712 seriously mate I know what it is I have the exact same off the shelf kit on my car. a 37r couldn't even make those numbers, you'd need gtx40 onwards which uses a t4 turbine flange (4" discharge) when the one in the video is clearly the t3 Associated with the gt30,gt35 and gt37 turbos. I'm curious about that dyno printout though but I don't have facebook

It's not a GXT turbo and it's not a 35. Yeah it's a off the self RCM headers and twisted kit.

gary jones this is owner of the car. I do not have a KZbin account. Yeah it's a 37 but not a shitty gtx Its a Owen developments turbo. I'm not going into specs and sizes of housings and so on. If you don't think it's real ask RCM there self or the mapper him self dave Rowe at eps motorsport on what that turbo made. When we get around to doing a race fuel map on the same set up I will make sure spool me up page gets a dyno vid of what it can do.

The logical place would be as close to the throttle body as possible, but I've seen them mounted other places. If it doesn't have one, then it has to be compressor surge. In which case is hard on the turbo.

Adam Bertlin yeah ceramic coating is to keep the heat in for a better flow. The headers, up pipe, turbo and down pipe exhaust is all ceramic coated white.
