Does this apply to System 80B games as well? Machine is from 1985, but noticed T had said up to 1987 while title reads 80/80A

Will this ground mod help prevent pop bumpers that blow their own fuses?

no...that means there is something wrong with the pop bumper board itself, or the coil.

I've also read somewhere about doing the same for the 5 volts that's beside it. Would you recommend that too?

Great Vid! I really like all the vids of yours i've watched so far...probably 40 0r 50! I'm having ground problems with my 'Haunted' haunted house i just purchased as a project. Boots up and plays but no bumpers and most kickers don't work but they have 40V. I replaced this connnector you modded with a docent electronics rebuild (for $50!) but with no luck. Do you think performing other ground mods would help? new rottendog mpu and power supply. Keep up these awesome vids and us newbies need more of todd's.....tips! :)

bumgahdna the game over relay that also turns on the flippers has contacts that turn off the power to them! check that
