I really do not see why people think Charlemagne owes Angela Yee so much loyalty. Yee has been ‘shady’ towards him on multiple occasions and was even on record calling him a bitch. Their relationship has never been solid, at best they are just two people in the same industry that were brought together by an opportunity. Charlemagne is personally invested in Gucci Mane’s transformation and wanted to have a conversation with him as a friend who he actually has a personal relationship with. Was he supposed to not do the interview because he has a professional relationship with Yee? I hope you people are not expecting your co-workers to have your back to the extent of compromising their out of work opportunities because you will be in for the proverbial rude awakening. (Besides, its not like Gucci was in the wrong with the points he was making).

Not to mention, it comes down to what Charlamange said. Media personalities shouldn't be allowed to control the narrative, which is what she was doing. She called this man a drug addict, made references to him being on drugs STILL, and played a clip of another man confirming to have been with his wife (in the past). This all stems from Gucci simply trying to get on Breakfastclub for his promo run and Yee feeling uncomfortable because of something SHE said.

This is exactly what I’ve been saying as I watch this interview! I don’t know why I’m so tight about this but CTG was definitely trying to stay away from why he didn’t defend his “coworkers”. It has nothing to do with him doing the interview because they aren’t really friends. CTG has the right to do his separate interviews. He was trying to steer the narrative like people are saying Gucci wasn’t supposed to say what he said. That’s false! Gucci said what he said and that’s that but CTG tried to act like he didn’t know the situation when we know he did. It was more so that Gucci was talking crazy about his woman coworker and he didn’t say shit. CTG always talking about protecting women and he allowed Gucci to go away from the interview without speaking up for her. Gucci was motioning his hands like Yee was sucking his D and calling her out her name. At the very least he could’ve said something but he didn’t and that wasn’t cool.

I’m late but I’m just hearing Charlamagne explain his side of the whole Gucci Mane vs. Yee & Envy issue and Charla is absolutely right. There have been people who went on the breakfast club and talked shit about Charlamagne in his absence while Yee and Evny were there. There were times when all 3 of them were in the room together and Yee & Envy let the artist light Charlamagne up. And he just had to sit through that. So what’s the difference between those moments and what happened with Gucci on Charla’s show? I’ll tell you. Sensitivity. Yee and Envy always dish shit out but can’t take the heat when it’s their turn to sit in the hot seat. Charla keeps the same energy through his wins and his losses, so that Gucci moment to him was no different than when Beenie Sigel pressed him on air. Or Onyx. Or Nelly. Or Birdman! Yee and Envy laughed at that “can I get a drop” video as we all did cuz it was wild 😂 But Charla kept the saaammmeeee energy! Always! If “Shouldn’t have been talkin shit” was a moment in time, THAT WAS IT! 🤷🏾♂️😂

Yo every time Schulz references KZbin being the new media...as I watch a KZbin video I realize that I continue to prefer watching this over college football that is currently on my tv but I haven’t looked back at my tv since I watched lil Duvall on the breakfast club 9 months ago. This is where it’s at

One of the best episodes they've done.....I rock with 85. I rooting for Chico. DC seems to be getting his shot first because he seems to get in more movies and extra opportunities right now, but i look fwd to the day Hollywood messes up and give Karlous a 1 Hr special or he gets a sizable role in a movie. That dude is a straight up star....But to all the white folks enjoy 85 because they'll be on everybody's radar soon, but remember yall already got Kanye, Stacey Dash, Ben Carson, Bill Cosby, OJ....we keeping the 85 boys🤣
