85 on RPSI Santa Specials @ Hilden, Craigavon, Moira & Lisburn (13-12-2015)

Footage of the 2nd of 3 weekends of the RPSI's Northern Santa Steam Specials which comprised of 2 runs from Portadown to Lisburn and back.
The train was formed of the RPSI's Mark 2 stock with Beyer Peacock built former GNR "v" class 4-4-0 loco no. 85 "Merlin" at the head.

+The Platform Service That's very kind of you thanks but I really only consider myself an amateur (and not a great one at that). My shots are simply down to good equipment and more importantly software to edit/get rid of the many mistakes I make!

Yes I agree, the editing can make or break any video I've found! You do the zooming very well though, my camera has a stiff zoom wheel so as you can imagine doing that is something I'd like to avoid. By the way may I ask what camera you use?

+The Platform Service I recently changed to a Panasonic v770 from a Canon Legria M52 and use a Rode Videomic Pro external microphone. The mic unfortunately doesn't work at all well with the panny compared to my previous Canon with a lot of compression related anomalies present in the audio, seems it's an issue with the AAC codec the cam uses for audio with the MP4 format. The zoom button on the panny is also terrible compared to the Canon, the zoom speed jumps all too easily at times. What setup do you have yourself?
