Chef Pulp is adorable. The most fun and entertaining chef I believe I’ve seen on your videos thus far🤩. And he is even speaking English, as well😊. Here in the US, the chefs would show off their talents and entertain guests at the higher end restaurants. Memories…❤

$52.50 per head was such a deal. $125.00 is what would had cost just for one person in any fancy american restaurant with a chef show and edible gold. The meal looked fantastic and delicious 😋 Thank you for sharing and as usual for Mrs. Bacon's stamp of approval. 😊 Happy Lunar Year 🧧

@@borutokun4910 Its an extremely lame way to impress your customers. There are so many other ways. This is pure laziness and lame. I know that Magic Oven a gourmet pizza place that I worked it had a euphoria pizza with gold leaf on it for over 100$ (you can search for articles on this)....google them to see if they are still in business. But hey what do I know...

$85 seems allot for a country where the average cost of a restaurant meal is around 500Baht ($14.00 USD). And Gold Leaf is not an ingredient, it's a decoration, kind of like parsley in American restaurants (except parsley actually has a flavor, if you actually decide to eat it)
@MaskedRiderChris7 ай бұрын
Chef Pulp sure knew his stuff! He was a ton of fun to watch in action, and when he was spinning the egg on the grill top was probably my favorite trick he pulled off. All that seafood for $105 USD for a 2-person set was a rather good deal, I think!

Profit margins must be insanely good…I would think you’d get two of each if it’s a meal for two. The lobster, scallops, and salmon combined probably don’t cost more than $20, so it’s at least a $60 profit for the hotel

„Edible gold…“ it’s still metal. Obviously this doesn’t add flavour. It started, because some successful chef did it in order to mock a food critic. it was meant as a statment like: if you think the dish is missing some eloquence, here is some gold. why dont you eat this? unfortunatelly the critic actually liked it for the presentation (people should know better than putting gold in food, just because it is expensive). so this „style“ became famous. You can get the best food and experience the best flavours in existance for prices ranging from 1€ - 20€
