CZ 457 in base class. Really interested in this rifle.

Sako quad! Or Sako p94s Range it's the lazer of factory 22LR . It's a 3 position rifle. Love to see what you think of it and how it will do the job without upgrading it. With Clase and comfort!

Thanks for the Tikka review 👍🏼 I would like to see a review of the Ruger RPR and Hear your honest review. I’ve read good & Bad reviews. I have several Ruger Rimfire 22’s and thought about the RPR, but the bad reviews keep swaying me away from it.

Good video. The Tikka T1 does benefit by added weight. I noticed that the first time out with mine. It is a very accurate rifle and has an excellent factory trigger, although mine will only adjust to about 1.5 lbs because the screw hits another screw which limits travel. It does need a check riser - the Victory Company looks like a great solution. I do not think NRL22 prohibits a non factory bolt in base class. Another beef is that the bolt won’t hold open on the last round. If you are not counting rounds it’s easy to close the bolt with no round in the chamber and pull the trigger - not good on a rimfire.

Does the Victor Company Cheek Rest cause any issues with bolt removal and/or inserting a bore guide for cleaning? Weighing up between the Victor Company and the KALIXTEKNIK CR1. Considerable difference in cost between the two and whilst both look nice I prefer the clean look of the Victor Company if it is not going to cause any clearance issues. I also notice that the install instructions for the Victor Company call for 1.25" back from the front of the stock but yours look like it is installed a bit further back. Assume that is a personal fit choice?

I have a Ruger RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor as my first precision rifle and it's awesome. I made my first 500yd hit with it on 12" plate on the first attempt. But after reading some reviews I held back on the RPR in 22LR and I'm leaning towards the CZ457. Of course you're looking at $399 vs $575 (more for the 457 AT-ONE version) so the CZ "SHOULD" be better. Right? :)

457 and I’d love a comparison from the 457 to the Ruger. There are some comparison videos out there but I really appreciate both the quality of your videos and the experience and thought you put in.

Awesome video as always. Hands down the most informative, factual, knowledge based reviews out there. Would like to hear your thoughts on the 457. I just picked up a 457 Pro Varmint SR and loving it. Interested in your opinion versus the T1X.

Good info. Did you run the gun with the spacer in the stock ? I tried it both ways and now it's out of the stock for good. Getting better accuracy with the barrel completely free floated. Also what ammo did you choose for it ? Also Thinking CZ .......

What ammo do you use in a 22? Bottom of the barrel, match or somewhere in between?
@8541tactical5 жыл бұрын
I do some quick testing to see what the rifle likes and usually use the best, least expensive option or the option I have the most on hand. Right now I have a lot of Norma Match 22. So if the rifle shoots it well, I use that.

I generally recommend getting them introduced to it as soon as they are physically able to handle the rifle. I introduced mine to gun safety VERY young.

Been a while since this video posted so not sure if you’ll see this post. I’m very curious to see a direct comparison between the Tikka and C-Z. Both stock and how they can be modified. Seems like both have chassis systems available. Maybe triggers, barrels? Interested in a rifle that can grow with me and my son over the next few years.
@8541tactical5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion. I will see what I can do. The Tikka is far from stock and the CZ457 is bone stock, but I am interested to see what we can do with it.

The rifle is STABLE! It cannot move.....you move! The bolt makes positive contact and does not double feed if you move it forward.......and these issues caused you to lose points? Fundamentals, go get a single shot, piece of crap, rifle used on a Boy Scout range. Until you can drill the 10 ring at 50 ft, you should not be allowed to touch any other rifle. BTW, I enjoy the channel.
