I’m making a pure currently and one of the best methods I have found for training is a craws bow or vigoras chain mace and a cannon at wildy slayer ankous with a salve Ammy I can get 50-60k range and 70k-80k strength xp per hour at 70 range 70 strength plus with a wildy weapon you break even or if you use a d scim or granite hammer your rates will be a little lower but you will profit. I have found this method much more effective than elder druids due to not being teleported all over the place and the extra 20% from the salve amulet. If you are chasing straight range xp cannon plus craws bow is over 120k xp per hr here at level 70 while breaking even

I have to try the daganoths. I train at pest control using xbow darts and chins. Cannon at rock crabs, and skeletal monkey chinning. I like to save on hp n use pest points so may do some cannon again. Moss giants have good seed drops but I’ve found torstol at dags before.

From what I understand, your range level affects accuracy with cannon not max hit. So I'm assuming that you will get higher rates at higher levels. Im not 100% sure about that though, also if that is the case I'm not sure how much it would change the xp per hour. I.e. at 70 range I was getting 83k including banking at dagganoths and with 90 range maybe that's 88k? Negligible difference at those rates but if at 90 range I was getting 95k with banking that is a decent hourly jump

Please do your research first before making a video on how cannons work… how lazy can you be? Cannon accuracy is based on what your highest equipment accuracy is. So if you’re using melee, it will roll accuracy based on what your currently selected attack style is. If you’re using range then it will roll off of your range attack bonus. If you’re using mage, don’t use mage because weird things happen and it’s probably rolling off of your melee attack bonuses. Nothing you do besides putting granite dust on your cannonballs will change their max hit. As a pure your best bet is to wear your highest ranged bonus gear, so ballista, Robinhood, black d’hide, etc. if you’re a main then you’re probably better off in max melee, but In absolute max gear the difference between max melee and mage range is negligible

1 to 92 is half to way to 99 so 92 to 99 is half the total xp, im sure you knew that but just incase. I think you are looking at 200k + cannonballs. I could be way over estimating though idk its been so long since I spent a lot of time cannoning. Best to just take it chunk at a time like 30k c balls per inv or something

For a pure? No prayer either nmz or sand crabs, with prayer you can do elder chaos druids or if you aren't worried about xp per hour you can do spindle with chainmace and make money while u train

Cannons do not look at levels at all. They have a max hit of 30 regardless of your stats (35 with granite cballs). Instead, cannons really just look at accuracy. The more accurate you are (in ANY style) the more accurate a cannon is. Therefore, if you have 40 atk but 1 range, it's more efficient to weild a rune 2H until you can thrown on some range gear and get your range stat higher than your slash. This is why cannons still work if you are melee (or mage, but idk who mages and cannons since there's ancients)

No I would just incorporate slayer into all training if you want slayer on your pure. Cannon slay as much as you can and train combat stats with slayer at the same time
