There's certain places that just suit an 85mm for street, particularly wider streets or more spread-out cities. I've been really enjoying mine lately! When it comes to rain, I _love_ photographing in the rain. I do buy heavily weather-sealed gear though. An umbrella is a great option, and a poncho can also be really useful as it allows you to get your camera out of the rain when needed 😀

@@adriensanguinetti When you get a chance , could you do a photo walk/POV with a Sony ZV-1 camera? I have one , but I don't see videos of people using it for photo and would love to see with your style what that camera is capable of. I hope you can make this happen.Thanks ! Inspiring work as always 👏🏿 I must admit I pretty much shoot exclusively at 1.8 on my 85mm but seeing the kind of depth of field with that focal length is actually quite interesting and cinematic. Will try it out on my next street session. Merci Adrien 🙏🏿

New subscriber. I work in a city near Hiroshima and recently took up photography as a hobby. The footbridge at 5:07 is where I usually hang around at whenever I want to take a picture of the passing Hiroden street car 😂

Could you try shooting with those compact cameras like the RX100 or G5/7X? I'd love to see how good they can perform compare to the GRiii.

I have the G7XII and the Ricoh GRIII. You will not approach the quality or street photography usability of a Ricoh GRIII in any world. Cameras at twice the price can't compete even. However, the G7X is a great hybrid camera. I really like the video output, and the quality of the files is always surprisingly good and not just because the back screen is very bad. If I had to, I could like with the G7X, but take good care of it, they fall apart easily. I would recommend either for posting online, but only the Ricoh if you want to print photos. If it's a starter camera then the G7X, because it has more versatile things like a flip up screen, zoom lens, good video.

Thanks for sharing another excellent relaxing street video, I enjoy watching street photography videos, it’s interesting but I ask myself what’s it all about? Why it’s so compelling and where do all the shots end up?

What's all about? it depends on the people but it can be an healthy creative activity for some, mental therapy for others. All my shots are sitting on different hard drive and a lot of them are not getting shown to anyone. I am sure all other photographers are doing the same. That's the way it is

Hi. Do you use any picture profile or creative styles in camera? Or just a standard creative style?

For my pictures no creative style as I shoot RAW and edit All my pictures with my presets. For video I shoot Slog3 and colorgrade my clips in Davinci Resolve using my LUTs

I just want to know how to shoot people facing you while walking. Like in 4:38. What settings and wheres your focus? Is it face detection focus?

Yes it is face detection in AF continuous and tracking
