I live in Brunswick also! I have a 1720 Key West too. I take my boat to Jerry if I have any problems and they always get me back out on the water.

Exactly. It's there if i need it and it's not hurting anything if i don't. Power pole with a i pilot you have anchoring covered no doubt

You will love it. I had a 2001 key largo 160cc with a merc 50 before buying this boat. It was a great boat. I have videos on here of me fishing in it.

Nice boat and install. What is your expdrience so far? Do you know if just one pole is enough to hold the boat in place while at the sandbar with some wind and current? Thanks in advance.

If I am at the sand bar I still use a anchor at the bow and use the power pole in the rear. It works great this way.

Does the top of the power pole sit higher than your windshield? Trying to figure out if it’s going to fit in the garage.

If you know anything about fishing, and apparently you talk like you do, then you would know that if you're in anyting under 10 ft of water you should never use an I pilot or anything similar to it. An anchor or a power pole is a must in Shallowater. Otherwise you will be catching absolutely nothing. :-)
