Great 👍 video as usual I have a 87 z24i glad to see info on these models I just started on swapping out my manual transmission and putting one from a 96 with very low mileage and I pulled all power steering components for next upgrade the parts truck I have is almost perfect body wise I'd love to use my drivetrain if not for having to change entire harness take care KY ✌️

There is also one heavy gauge (about 4 awg) ground lead that connects the battery negative terminal to the body (near power steering fluid reservoir tank mounting bracket) and then the same lead continues to go to the block and bolts onto the engine somewhere near the thermostat housing. That is the main lead that provides cranking current return path as well as connecting the battery to the body. Hope that helps someone!

Disconnect your battery for a few minutes. If there’s something active that’s triggering a check engine light then it’ll just come back on anywhere from 0.1 - 50.00 miles
