Talk about keeping it real. Every hair stands up whenever I hear this.song. I was born in a small town in Illinois. Willow Hill, Illinois pop 650. We moved around due to my parents both being Methodist Ministers. When I was 10 we lived in Evanston, Illinois. After that year we moved from the concrete jungle to WOLF lake, Illinois. Surrounded by state forest. Talk about culture shock. I'm so thankful for that because it turned me into a good ol country boy. I went into the Navy and have been halfway around the world and back. Now I live on a 90 acre family farm in the country and have been an addict and am now a recovering addict with 8.5 months clean with a whole new attitude towards life. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Country folk to the core.
