I think truck driving is a great job as long as you don't have to load and unload the trailer by yourself. used to unload and load the trailer I've hated it with a passion cause you're always in a rush .

+Tom H Hard to tell from the video, but he could have easily been - as you suggest - topping up oil, or window washer fluid, maybe even changing the fuel filter, or cleaning, etc while he is waiting at the door. I'd dare suggest a hood up rarely means a breakdown - also, that would be terrible to breakdown at the door :o

+Barbara Miller Hi Barb back when I was driving they didn't have the air button to lock and unlock the pin's to slide the tandems......It wouldn't surprise me if they aren't working on something like that for the landing gear..... It would probably be done by air don't want to be messen with hydraulic fluids.
