This is probably the best season finale I’ve ever seen so far. The tension was strong, the story really changed a lot in an instant, and Gabriel having nearly all the miraculous? Man I’m so hyped for season 5!

And the expression that Chloe had? She looked legit worried and maybe upset. Maybe not all is lost with Chloe, maybe this will be her wake up call. Maybe seeing Hawkmoth threaten all of Paris, will energize her to do good rather than evil. Because remember WAY back in Antibug, her Father was addressing the media after Vanisher's attack. "An attack on Chloe, is an attack on Paris!" -S1 Ep25: Antibug (Netflix US ep. order) at 3min42secs. I wonder if this will get mirrored/reflected back, "To threaten Paris, is to threaten my daughters Zoe and Chloe.", and see the Mayor take a stand (and maybe that's partly why the entirety of Paris stood against Hawkmoth).

I had a crazy thought for this next season. The biggest weakness that ladybug and cat noir have is there time limits. What if during the season they finally reach the point where they no longer bound by their physical restrictions.

Season 5 reveals that some episodes represent the theme each kwami represents. Episode one is evolution(the rabbit). Perhaps this is how Alex becomes Bunnix, and explain how he ancestor got hold of the rabbit miraculous. Considering that Fu had it in the miracle box.

I suspect it's more likely that they're puzzled by the fact that the Dog Miraculous holder has suddenly become male, having been female (Sabrina) just a couple of episodes previously..... 16:54 Rooster ex Machina! 17:24 All this, Hildaglitz, and it's a neat little throwback to the previous season's finale in which the baddies pulled a similar stunt on Snake Noir by sending him to the sun. 17:51 What an interesting theory! I had assumed that perhaps he was sorry knowing that Adrien could come off worse as a result of Shadowmoth achieving victory as a result of his imminent betrayal of Ladybug, but the sympathy over Sentimonster demise is quite compelling and plausible. 19:38 It's perhaps easy to forget an aspect of this moment that makes it all the more poignant: Alya is talking here to Marinette as well as Ladybug, having learned earlier this season that they're the same person. In that moment, Marinette feared that the Reveal could wreck things; here is where we see her unfortunately proved right, at least insofar as she has lost one of her teammates. (Of course, that loss is about to be compounded massively.) 20:04 It's as I observed on your "Gabriel Agreste" reaction, dear Luminara: Gabriel has obviously added hair products to his brand! 20:54 As in the previous season's finale, Ladybug has made a critical mistake. But this one is far worse.... 22:13 OK gang, what do we reckon to the idea that Felix is implying he could have used the ring, or perhaps destroyed it, to harm .... Adrien?!?! All they have is each other, but perhaps that may be all they need, since they have that Pure Love which can conquer all? This episode was genuinely amazing. Season 4 was... eh, but this more than makes up for it. It's given me so many questions, like: 1) Is Strike Back dead? (Remember, a sentimonster is only destroyed when it's amok is cleansed) 2) How is Ladybug and Cat Noir's relationship going to progress? (Not shipwise, as partners, though it would he interesting to see an actual ship develop) 3) How is Felix going to use the Peacock Miraculous moving forward? Will he help Hawk Moth, will he help our heroes, or will he remain neutral? 4) Will side-heroes be reintroduced as the Miraculous are retrieved? (I hope not, it would be interesting to see some new characters) 5) How are Ladybug and Cat Noir going to retrieve the Miraculous? (Some seem literally impossible, like the rabbit miraculous) Finally, how will Gabriel use the Miraculous in the future? Will Gabriel use the Miraculous to fight LB/CN and get involved, or will he give them to akumatized villains like the villain from the New York special? I'm interested to hear everyone's thought.

I loved that episode! Adrien is such a warm-hearted and understanding boy, it's unbelievable. I was thinking about why Félix said "I'm sorry." before he turned on Ladybug. I don't think he's looking for new powers. He gave almost all the miraculous to Hawk Moth. I assume he wants the peacock miraculous to create sentimonsters and get Ladybug's and Cat Noir's miraculous to bring his father back. He probably would have asked for the butterfly miraculous, but knew Hawk Moth wouldn't give it up and would get suspicous. I also think he figured out Hawk Moth's motive to get the Miraculous. He probably read about the powers in the instructions and he saw Émilie in the coffin after all.

the rooster ability can grant abilities, but not grant wishes. so he cant just "know hawkmoths identity". He can grant himself an ability, that might help him uncover the identity though. for example, in penalteam, he couldnt just get the ability to "win the game". He could grant himself the ability "to score a goal from anywhere on the field" (but only once per transformation)

Strike Back has to be one of the most epic Miraculous Ladybug episodes ever. The last scene was so epic especially when Cat Noir appeared and gave Ladybug the encouragement she needed to get back on her feet. In my opinion, the last scene sounded way better in the French Dub especially when the people were cheering for Ladybug and the way the two stood up tall in the end facing Shadow Moth was a powerful moment. This episode will definitely not be forgotten.

Personally I see Felix as more anti hero material than a full evil Villian. He's more like Chloe, not Gabriel/Hawkmoth whose insane! Felix and Chloe at least show at points that they do care but they're misguided. My theory on Felix and possibly the show going forward.(this is solely based OG Felix's personality and his past relationship w/ Adrien. Like Chloe, Felix is childhood friends with Adrien, and were most likely pretty close(based on how Adrien reacts when he appears in his debut ep) Both Chloe and Felix were pretty nice when they were young, Felix being mischievous now & then, but nothing too bad) perhaps after Chloe's mom left and Felix stopped seeing Adrien they changed.(Felix not having Adrien as a good influence around) Maybe just before his debut episode, Felix finds out the truth of him and Adrien "possibly" being sentimonsters.(maybe even them being defective, or just Felix being defective/cursed) Maybe during creation, the miraculous broke due to two sentimonsters being created at the same time, and only Adrien ended up being perfect with a few flaws and Felix being imperfect by causing mischief & making bad decisions. Felix is shown to be the opposite of Adrien whose shown to be perfect.(coincidence, maybe not) could possibly tie back to the anime, where Felix is cursed by the cat miraculous, but maybe they changed it to peacock/sentimonster? (Back to the backstory) This reveal would've had Felix's world crashing down. Maybe that's the reason he's so cold and calculating, he's more aware. Maybe he wants the peacock miraculous so he can fix him and Adrien.(so they're not defective/cursed) As for trading all the miraculous, he's not necessarily siding with Hawkmoth, he's on no one's side and we have no idea what he plans on doing with Duusu. He needed something big to get Gabriel to hand over the peacock, the ring wouldn't be enough. He could have also done it to establish trust with Gabriel, saying "Hey, you don't have to worry about me going after you", when it could be a lie. Also, Felix could be jealous of Adrien. Adrien did assume Felix's actions in his debit appearance were just due to his dad's death and Adrien not attending the funeral. I feel there has to be more reason then just that, since all that was just Adrien's assumptions, we don't know for sure. Also Duusu could be a good influence on Felix, depending on how he treats her. I'm thinking their relationship will be similar to how Felix and Plagg interact in the anime. Since Duusu and Plagg are both pretty energetic. Those are just my opinions and theories.

Now, I loved this episode so much, and I want to say one thing. The end scene, when Ladybug and Chat Noir hugged and had their little moment, there was a flash of lightning. Isn't there that myth where when there is a flash of lightning it's the moment when love at first sight occurs? Ladybug was blushing during that scene, so something might happen.. I think season 5 will truly be Ladynoirs time to shine as there are no other superheroes to get in the way either. I'm so excited for Season 5!! Edit: I just saw a comment about the first set episode of Season 5, evolution. The comment says it's about the bunny miraculous and that some episodes represent themes the kwamis are based on. I think that those episodes will be the episodes with a back story on the kwami, how it was created? and how Ladybug and Chat Noir get the specific miraculous back. I do predict that evolution will most likely be when Alix gets the miraculous and then they have a permanent back-up/insurance plan. As season 5 is going to be a very risky season with trying to get the miraculous back, it would probably be a good idea to have Bunnix there, because it's not like Viperion is going to be there.

One thing that I thought was interesting was the fact that Tikki knows that Adrien is Cat Noir, but she tried to discourage Marinette from using her powers to try to get him to stay. I think the ending was the most romantic and sweet to tears!ЖальIt's a pity that this is the end of season 4. Although, I don't think so. Because the finale usually ends with a happy ending. It wasn't Marinette's fault for losing them. It was the villain's fault - Risk. Marinette has decided to intelligently choose someone who does not have a frog mark and who she trusted before . She couldn't have known that Adrien was not Adrien but Felix. Felix took great advantage of the occasion (justified lack of attention from Ladybug who was focused on mission and lucky charm) So it wasn't Marinette's fault .Awesome episode !!!
