@@rottweiler910 you probably need a staff of 10-12 full time, plus more for events and for your quarterly big cleanings. Not cheap as you are gonna pay for people who will be discrete, keep your confidences and mind their place. My guess at staffing is $500k per month, plus health insurance, plus liability insurance, plus maintenance expense, utilities and taxes. All in you are probably looking at $1 to 1.5 million per month total.

as is typical in LA, they always ask for double what it will actually sell for. Not that $40-45M is cheap. The running costs are what the buyer will be concerned with, and if there is a big renovation expense needed. A billionaire won't blink at all these costs if he wants to be in LA, this matches his style or the statement he wants to make and he can use this property to promote his business ventures. Personally, I think it's exquisite and the location is exceptional. Wouldn't change a thing other than maybe furniture and artworks.
