If you have fluid pooring out of the red or green caps on the back of the hydrolic switch block this is probably your issue. Very simple to do. The seal in the rear will go bad causing it to leak while running.

Thanks for the video! I ran into the exact same problem didn't even think about the pedal lock! My spool valve experience comes from rear remotes on tractors

Thanks for posting this video! I have a bobcat 863 and when I slide the lower spool valve out the back it runs into a solid hydraulic line. Did you have to remove any of the hard hydraulic lines?
@chad3669873 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry that I just now saw your comment, but for anyone that sees this in the future... For the 2005 bobcat 873, I did not have to take any hydraulic lines loose to get the spool valves out.

If it leaks out of the red or green cap what kind of seal is it? Oring or something else ?
@chad3669873 жыл бұрын
I am sorry I didn't see your comment until now but for anyone else who sees this video... Behind the green and red caps are the spool valves, if fluid leaks from there then you need to rebuild the spool valves. The spool valves are sealed via a "lip seal" that can be found at a bobcat parts house. There are o rings around the ends of the valves but if it is leaking fluid then the "lips seals" are the problem.

@chad3669873 жыл бұрын
I just took the seals I got out of the machine and my vin number to a local bobcat dealer and they gave me the individual seals. They were only about $30

Thanks again once I remove the valve will all the hydraulic fluid come leaking out
@chad3669873 жыл бұрын
No, you will have some fluid come out, but not much, a few oz at most.

@@chad366987 this is a funny question to you and I cuz my machine dumped 5 gallons in a matter of minutes. And you mentioned yours was dumping fluid.
