87th Flying Training Squadron Red Bull heritage

In the 1970's I was a Weapons Controller in Aerospace Defense Command and controlled 87th FIS F-106 Delta Darts out of K.I. Sawyer AFB MI on their daily intercept training missions. Of the various squadrons we had in our area of responsibility for defending our nation with if attacked, the 87th FIS was the best. I am glad that their heritage is continuing with the 87th FTS.
