Good video, is there a way to reset the phone using the power botton key and the volume up key to login in safe mode? I tried but it did not load into safe mode, please, help, greetz ps. The battery gets extremely hot by charging, I have read the same by other users, thanks again

Hi, my apologies for a late reply. So the phone should allow you to boot into safe mode using the combination of power button and volume up key, pls double check this on yours: 1. power off 2. press and hold both the power button and volume up key simultaneously. 3. keep holding both buttons until the phone vibrates and the 8849/Unihertz logo shows up then release both buttons. It works on my phone, just've checked. If this doesn't work, I'm not sure but there could be a couple of reasons - timing (you might try to hold the buttons for a second or two longer). Try to release them only after the vibration. Pls let me know. Cheers.

No, it doesn't have hdmi output I'm afraid. and has the USB 2.0 so the data transfer speeds are only around 480 Mbps....

the phone lack support for some of the main LTE bands used in the US (particularly bands 12 and 17), which are crucial for consistent coverage and data connectivity, so it would be probably best to check out with the carrier (or with the 8849 customer service). Spectrum operates mainly on verizon's network - and while verizon utilizes some bands supported by the phone (bands 2, 4, and 5), the lack of bands 12 and 17 could still lead to coverage issues. You may eventually check out with spectrum, if the Tank 3 is be on their list. Sorry I couldn't help much here...

How is the screen legibilty under direct sunlight? It's often disappointing on these rugged phones

Hi. On the max brightness it's fine, comparable to the brightness of my pixel 8, as I've been using them two simultaneously during testing, I had the Tank1 (which has a similar display) on my summer hols last year and in the direct sunlight the display was fairly good. It's not as bright as super amoled (of course) , but it's better than other ruggedized phones I tested in the past (oukitel wp19, AGM, or doogee S100 or s89 pro). I'll probably start to film them phones under sunlight with other phones, just to have some clear comparison

Thanks, I appreciate that! As for the phone, it's a bit cumbersome to use. It's quite bulky - for instance, (pulls down my trousers, haha and often barely fits in my pocket). That said, it definitely gets attention and turns heads everywhere I go with it To answer your question - I think it's a great phone to have as a backup, but probably not the best choice for everyday use (which I should have mentioned in the video - but I was trying to stay unbiased)... this phone DOES NOT have the IP69k rating. its very important to know it only has IP68 ratings plus the mil standard. so no spraying it down with high pressure hot water, or just general high pressure water. It only has the standard waterproofness of 30mins in 1.5 meter deep water. also the IP68 rating is for freshwater only, so there is no gurantee it will withstand the same stuff in saltwater or something like softdrinks. Very sad about the 69k rating since its pretty much standard for all proper rugged phones to get it.

Hi. I'm not 100% sure - (will probably need to confirm this with AT&T or check on their web), but Tank 3 is apparently not included on AT&T's whitelist. If this could be confirmed, it would mean it may not function properly on the network, even if you manage to activate it.
